The Unseen Series, completed days after the Kavanaugh verdict, explores the process through which the stories and experiences of assault and oppression are made invisible and they ways in which survivors are asked to be complicit in their own erasure.
In each of the life-sized portraits the women in the frame hold a photograph depicting the space directly behind her. While the individual's identity and personhood is obscured, the process through which they have been blotted out makes no effort to cover its tracks.
